Information on the Protection of Personal Data
As Professor Semih Keskil and the PAMO Med practice team ("PAMO Med"), we attach great importance to the security of your personal data. We maintain all personal data shared by our patients with the utmost care for patient privacy, taking all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure an appropriate level of security for your personal data.
This "Information on the Protection of Personal Data" explains how we collect, transfer, use, and protect your personal data, and describes our protection and processing policy during the services performed by PAMO Med.
1. Personal Data Collected by PAMO Med
We collect various information from our patients within the scope of the health services we provide. This information is collected in accordance with the data processing principles and conditions of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The following may be included in the information we collect from you for the purposes described in Section 2 below:
- Your name and surname
- Your ID number, passport number
- Place and date of birth
- Gender
- Address
- Your telephone number
- Email address
- The patient protocol number specific to you
- Your financial information such as payment and billing information
- Your private health insurance and social security information
- In general, your biometric and genetic data
- Your laboratory results
- Test and diagnostic results
- Medical examination data
- Your health data, including but not limited to your prescription information
- Data that you might share when contacting us via mail, phone, fax, email, and other channels
2. Objectives for Processing Your Personal Data
In accordance with the KVKK, the personal data we collect within the scope of the services you receive from us can be processed for a variety of purposes, including:
- Fulfilment of our legal obligations under Law No. 3359 on Health Services, Decree Law No. 663 on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Health and its Subsidiaries, the Regulation on Private Health Institutions for Diagnosis and Treatment of Outpatients, the Regulation on Processing of Personal Health Data and Ensuring Privacy, and other related regulations
- Public health protection, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, and planning and management of the financing of health services
- Providing you with information about your appointment, in the case you have scheduled one
- Planning and managing the organization of PAMO Med
- Analyzing your use of health services to improve the services we provide
- Billing
- Identity verification
- Verifying your relationship with contracted institutions
- Responding to requests of the Ministry of Health and other public institutions in accordance with applicable legislation
- Responding to your questions or complaints about our services
- Controlling the efficiency of the services provided by PAMO Med
- Measuring patient satisfaction after receiving health services in order to increase patient satisfaction
- Contacting you to provide information about our services
- Coordinating supply of medicines or medical devices
Your personal data will not be used for any commercial purposes except as required by the activities listed above and the relevant legislation.
3. People and Organizations to Whom Your Personal Data May Be Transferred
In accordance with Section 2 above, your personal data may be transferred — with all necessary technical and administrative measures taken to ensure an appropriate level of security in accordance with the KVKK and relevant health legislation — to the organizations stated in Law No. 3359 on Health Services, Decree Law No. 663, the Regulation on Private Health Institutions for Diagnosis and Treatment of Outpatients, and the Regulation on Processing of Personal Health Data and Ensuring Privacy; as well as to private insurance companies, auditors, consultants, work partners, domestic and foreign institutions, and other third parties with whom we cooperate to carry out our activities, and other institutions with which we are legally required to share data, due to legal responsibilities and within legal limitations, in a contractual manner.
4. Legal Reason and Method of Data Collection
Your personal data is processed within the legal limits required by applicable legislation and the requirements of PAMO Med's operations, including the Law on Tax Procedures and the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, in a manner limited to, and necessary for, specific, clear, and legitimate purposes in accordance with the law and honest values.
Your personal data may be collected through face-to-face interviews, telephone calls, teleconferencing or video conferencing, or in written or electronic form, in order to fulfil the contractual and statutory obligations of PAMO Med under the objectives described above, and is processed in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698 for the following legal reasons:
- The explicit disclosure of your consent
- Explicit requirement by law
- If you are unable to disclose your consent due to physical impossibility, or if your consent is known not to be legally valid, whenever it is necessary for your data to be shared in order to protect the life or bodily integrity of you or anyone else
- The processing of personal data related to the establishment or continuity of a contract
- Fulfilment of our legal obligations
- Data that has been made public by the person concerned
- Cases in which data processing is mandatory for the establishment, use, or protection of a right
- Cases in which processing is mandatory for our legitimate interests, with no harm or threat to your fundamental rights and freedoms
- Processing of personal data related to health, solely for the purposes of public health protection, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, and the planning and management of the financing of health services, and only by competent persons, authorities, and organizations under an obligation of secrecy
5. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data
Where your personal data is processed by PAMO Med, you have the following rights as the data subject under Article 11 of the KVKK:
- To learn whether your personal data has been processed
- To request information about the processing of your personal data
- To learn the purposes for which your personal data is processed
- If your data has been transferred to third parties at home or abroad, to obtain information about those parties
- To request correction of your personal data in cases of incomplete or incorrect processing
- To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if PAMO Med no longer has a legal basis or legitimate interest for processing it, or if the reasons for processing have been eliminated
- To object to a result that arises against you through the analysis of your personal data exclusively by automated systems
- To claim compensation if you suffer a loss due to unlawful processing of your personal data
Pursuant to Article 13(1) of the KVKK, you may submit a request regarding the use of your rights above to PAMO Med in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Since the Personal Data Protection Board has not specified a particular method at this stage, your written application should be submitted in accordance with the KVKK.

You may also send the related documents via notary or other methods described in the KVKK legislation, or forward the completed form from your registered email address, or — if you have previously corresponded with us — through info@pamomed.com.tr.
PAMO Med will conclude your request as soon as possible, and free of charge, within at most thirty days. However, if the process requires an additional cost, the applicable fee will be charged according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
